That’s a wrap on the inaugural Three Bridges Run! What a fantastic weekend for all the 8km, 21km and 28km road runners who no doubt enjoyed the scenic Western Sydney based river run.
Starting from the impressive Western Sydney University Campus, the course took participants on a tour of Parramatta rivers stunning foreshore. Highlights included George Kendall Riverside Park, Meadowbank Park, Rhodes Point, and Newington Nature Reserve.
Perfect running conditions greeted over 400 runners looking to enjoy this beautiful part of the city. Some fast times were set across all distances and categories. Of particular note was Master Lion who ran the 21km event, in a lion suit, in 28 degrees and still came 1st in his category and 6th overall!
A special shout out to our hard working volunteers who lent a hand and helped make this event happen, either out on course as a marshal or at the event centre.
